For us, camping is not just an overnight stay, but an opportunity to be present, take time to talk to our guests and create lasting experiences. CampBendixen is an expression of our deep commitment and the community we want to strengthen at our campsites. It is the name that unites Esbjerg Camping, Ebeltoft Strand Camping and Mols Bjerge Camping and clearly reflects our values of quality, proximity and authenticity.
Anja and Allan – Passion for camping
Anja and Allan are a couple in their prime, with three grown-up daughters and two lovely grandchildren, who have always enjoyed family life – and a shared dream of running their own campsite.
That dream became a reality in 2018 when they took over the lease of Camping & Familiepark West in Hee. Here they found their passion for camping and the personal service that makes a difference to guests.
When the opportunity arose to become the manager couple at Esbjerg Camping, they didn’t hesitate – they saw a unique chance to further develop the site and create even more fantastic experiences for campers.
For Anja and Allan, camping is about much more than accommodation – it’s a lifestyle. They are passionate about giving their guests the best experience, where good service, cozy atmosphere and presence are at the center. Their biggest motivation is to see happy campers returning year after year.
They look forward to welcoming guests and showing them what Esbjerg is all about – a city and area full of hidden gems, beautiful nature and exciting experiences for the whole family.
Together with Lars and Rikke, they work purposefully to develop Esbjerg Camping and create the best setting for guests. With their commitment, warmth and attention to detail, they help make the camping experience something very special.
Our love for Esbjerg Camping
We, Lars and Rikke, have always had a passion for camping, and in 2015 we took the plunge and bought Esbjerg Camping.
At the time, we were employed by DCU, but we dreamed of having our own site – a place where we could create something special. When we first saw Esbjerg Camping, we knew this was where we belonged. The site had everything we dreamed of and we saw great potential for development.
Today, Esbjerg Camping is our brainchild. It has not only grown into what we dreamed of, but has also made it possible for us to be part of CampBendixen. We are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved, but we could not have done it alone. Without the support of our family, friends and – not least – our children, it would not have been possible. Our children have loved Esbjerg Camping from day one, and although we now live in Ebeltoft, they still live and work in Esbjerg, where they study and have full-time jobs.
Although we’re based in Ebeltoft on a daily basis, we’re on site at least once a week. We work closely with our manager couple and are always available for both guests and staff.
Esbjerg Camping is not just a campsite to us – it’s a part of our lives and our family.
